Chicago this weekend!
So Allan and I will get to color another state off our US Map of places visited together- Chicago! It is his first trip there and my first time back as an adult. It is only a Thursday- Monday thing and the main reason for our visit is to see family, but we have lots of fun things planned as well and definitely looking forward to it. My Grandma, unfortunately is now back in the hospital, but we are praying for her recovery. She is 89 years old and has lived a long, happy life. I wish she could meet Gianna, but I am just happy we are able to make it up there to see her. Continue reading
Timeshares- a do or a don’t?
So on our recent trip to Cancun we attended 1 of those lovely timeshare meetings in order to save a couple hundred bucks on some activities. We have been to them before and went in thinking no way, we are not going to do it, let’s just sit through it and get it over with. Well, we stayed at the Westin Resort in Cancun and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Westin or Starwood hotels are all VERY nice. Once they started going into their program- the points and options system, we were almost sold. If it weren’t for baby G in the tummy we would have probably signed that day, but we didn’t. We did however purchase the mini- timeshare package and have the option in that payment going toward our big payment if we decide to buy there in the next 2 years. The mini package contains 75,000 hotel points- which would cover at least our 10 day Euro trip and a 6 night, 7 day stay back at the Westin Cancun Resort in the 2 bedroom villa- which is super nice. 3 days till our 2nd baby moon to CANCUN!!
Yay, I am so excited about having some time off work and getting to go to paradise with my hubby and friends. It is especially more exciting now that I know my baby girl Gianna is coming with us. I can’t wait till she arrives and we get to take her on her first beach trip in a little bikini, hat and sunglasses. She is going to be such a doll, I just know it! Continue reading
How many states have your and your honey visited??
So, my friend at work loves to go camping with her husband, they are always taking mini vacays and doing fun stuff together and I just noticed how she keeps a United States map and highlights the states that her and her husband have traveled together. Drive through doesn’t count, you must spend the day doing or seeing something cool at least for it to count. Oh, and if you have been alone that doesn’t count either. So I thought, OMG I have to do this! Continue reading
